If you haven’t picked up the Bolt DVD yet, check it out. The two disc set includes some behind the scenes footage of all the animators with our crazy beards.
This images represents a typical day working on Bolt. Yes I know…
It all started at work, my coworker and friend John Park would occasionally pull a prank on me, it would range from turning everything on my desk upside down, reordering the keys on my keyboard, or applying a slice of scotch tape under my optical mouse rendering it useless. Vowing to get my revenge I ran home, pulled out an old mouse, and made this.
When plugged into Mr. Parks computer along side his own mouse, his cursor would endlessly run to the left side of his screen. He eventually figured it out and ran into my cubicle to curse me! He liked the prank so much he wrote an article for Make Magazine on how to build this evil device. You can see it here.
The mouse made it on MakeTV and I did a little video as a “trouble maker!” You can see it around 03:25
